Our Sweet on Saucy ‘Perfect Ten’ is a ready-to-eat festive spread put together by our partner restaurants — Japanese steakhouse, Rengaya; Japanese fried chicken & craft beer specialist, Kindori; and modern Chinese teahouse, Mister Wu.
Snack on crispy golden chicken skin from Kindori, with delicious dips like Magic Ikura Cream — lush and silky goodness topped with a heap of gleaming roe. You can trust a Japanese steakhouse to give good beef, and Renga-Ya’s Christmas Roast doesn’t disappoint. Here, Ohmi wagyu is marinated in amakase rice wine so the meat is super tender, then cooked sous vide before going in the oven. Comes pre-sliced for convenience, with an umami-rich yuzu kosho sauce to drizzle over. For carbs, Renga-Ya has also turned their wagyu into a delish filling for Shepherd’s Pie, topped with a perfectly golden, cheesy crust. Simply heat up in your microwave on ‘Defrost’ mode for 1 minute and 30s, followed by another 1 minute on ‘Regular’ mode for that extra bubbling yumminess.
Rounding up the festive mains is our Saucy ham, glazed with our signature sour plum jam. Savoury with a hint of sweetness, this is served sliced and ready to eat. For dessert, Mister Wu’s Canton Rose Black Lychee Tea and cookies are dainty nibbles perfect for after-dinner chit chat and games.
No party is complete without (plenty of) booze, and we’ve got you sorted with our Saucy Sour Plum Shots and a selection of five Japanese craft beers. A toast to happy holidays!
